The foundations of this compendium were developed during my studies in physics and meteorology. It is aimed at students as well as anyone wishing to gain a rigorous understanding of the mathematical and physical foundations of atmospheric physics.
The book covers classical mechanics, electrodynamics, statistical physics, atmospheric dynamics, turbulence, numerical weather prediction, and radiation transport, among other topics.
The book is under continuous development and revision. Some chapters and sections do not yet have content and have so far only been inserted as placeholders.
All content is freely available — as an interactive HTML version with typeset mathematics and as a print-ready PDF.

A printed copy of the compendium is available on request. It is offered solely at cost price — covering printing and shipping only — without any commercial intent.
